SYSGO is the leading European provider of real-time operating systems for critical embedded applications in the Internet of Things (IoT). The SYSGO GmbH research department since 2011 plans, acquires and executes research projects (https://www.sysgo.com/research-projects) that support development, use and certification of SYSGO's operating system products. Concrete current challenges, to be addressed together with external project partners from industry and academia, specifically for the next three years include the following core topics:
In addition, our work includes to continuously attract new projects in national and EU (e.g. Horizon Europe, KDT) programs, working with engineering and product development at SYSGO. We are a team of currently 6 researchers, and usually assign tasks by open allocation.
Thus, we have the following types of job openings:
- research engineer: you specialise in the execution of specification/design/implementation/verification as needed by the project(s) in cooperation with engineering. This includes direct exchange with external German and EU project partners, writing up results in the form of deliverables and publications.
- research manager: you focus more on the acquisition and management of execution projects, financial budgeting.
Depending on your preferences, a mix of both roles is possible.
We assume either a relevant education (computing/engineering/math/natural sciences) and/or rich experience in relevant fields. We offer permanent positions with the possibility of remote working. You or persons you know are welcome to ping me if interested.
